TENDING THE INNER AND OUTER EARTH: A FEMININE PATH TO RESTORATION

I am done hiding my voice. #embodiedtruth

For too long, many of us have been conditioned to disconnect—from our bodies, our rhythms, and the Earth herself. But the truth is, we are not separate. The body is a microcosm of the Earth. Our cycles mirror her seasons, her tides, her phases of creation and rest.
When we begin to honor our own cyclical nature—resting when we bleed, rising into action when we ovulate, listening when our bodies whisper—we remember something ancient. We begin to live in right relationship, not just with ourselves, but with the living Earth.
And this, I truly believe, is how we begin to save the planet.
But here’s the thing:
Before we can take meaningful action, we must allow ourselves to feel.
As feminine beings, we are designed to feel the grief of the Earth.
To feel the bees disappearing.
To feel the forests falling silent.
To feel the waters becoming too toxic to drink.
To feel it all—not to drown in despair, but to awaken our fierce, embodied devotion.
Once we truly feel, we can no longer look away.
We are moved to act—not from fear or shame, but from love, reverence, and deep belonging.
This is not just self-care.
This is a revolution.
This is how we begin to save the planet.
And it starts with small, sacred actions:
Limit plastic and single-use waste
Compost your food scraps and nourish the soil
Walk or bike when possible instead of driving
Buy from local farms and regenerative sources
Plant pollinator-friendly flowers for the bees
Tend to your inner world so you can better tend to the outer one
Take a yoga class.
Walk barefoot on the Earth.
Slow down to listen to the needs of your body.
Receive a nourishing massage.
Your body is sacred. So is the Earth.
When you care for one, you are caring for all.
In devotion to her,
Lara
